TruckClub™ Privacy Policy

Effective Date: Jul 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how TruckClub Group Inc. ("TruckClub," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you visit https://www.truckclub.com and our related subdomains (including portal.truckclub.com, help.truckclub.com, and files.truckclub.com), use our mobile or web applications, purchase or use our TruckProtect™ plans and related services, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services").

Please read this Privacy Policy together with our Terms & Conditions, our Notice at Collection, and, for our text-messaging program, our SMS Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: information you provide to us, information collected automatically when you use the Services, and information we receive from third parties.

Information you provide to us:

  • Identifiers and contact information — name, mailing address, email address, telephone and mobile number, and account username and password.
  • Vehicle information — vehicle make, model, year, VIN, mileage, configuration, maintenance records, and operational or telematics data relevant to coverage and claims.
  • Commercial and transaction information — plans purchased, coverage details, claims history, payment records, and related correspondence.
  • Payment information — billing details processed through our third-party payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own systems.
  • Communications — information you provide when you contact us, request support, submit a claim, refer others, or participate in promotions, surveys, or our referral program.

Information collected automatically:

  • Device and usage data — IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, and dates and times of access.
  • Location data — approximate location derived from your IP address and, where you grant permission, more precise location from your device.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 3 below.

Information from third parties:

  • Dealerships, finance and insurance providers, and other partners who refer you or facilitate your enrollment.
  • Service providers, analytics and advertising partners, and publicly available sources, consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services and administer your account and coverage;
  • Process transactions, payments, claims, and referrals;
  • Communicate with you about your account, transactions, service updates, and customer support;
  • Send you marketing and promotional communications where permitted, including email and (with your consent) text messages — see Section 6;
  • Personalize your experience and develop new products and features;
  • Measure and analyze the performance of the Services and our advertising;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, security incidents, and other unlawful or harmful activity; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, and similar technologies ("Cookies") to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Services and, where permitted, to deliver advertising.

Providers we use. These technologies are provided by or share information with Google (including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads), Meta Platforms, Inc. (the Meta Pixel and Conversions API), LinkedIn, and Microsoft (including Microsoft Clarity), as well as our customer-communication and referral platforms. We may add or change providers from time to time.

Session activity recording. Some of these technologies record how you interact with our pages — such as page views, clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement — to help us understand and improve how the Services are used.

Categories of Cookies:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Services to function (e.g., security, network management, login, and load balancing). These are always active and cannot be switched off.
  • Performance/analytics, functional, and advertising/targeting Cookies may be set when you visit the Services. You may opt out at any time — through the banner's preference controls, through our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link, or by enabling Global Privacy Control (see below). When you opt out, we stop setting those Cookies and stop sharing the associated information with advertising partners.
  • Functional — remember your preferences and choices.
  • Advertising and targeting — used to deliver relevant advertising and measure its effectiveness, and may involve sharing identifiers with advertising partners.

Your choices. You control non-essential Cookies through our cookie-consent banner, and you can review or change your choices at any time using the banner's preference controls or through your browser settings. Different categories are handled differently:

  • Performance and analytics Cookies are set only after you affirmatively consent through our banner.
  • Advertising/targeting and functional Cookies may be set when you visit the Services. You may opt out at any time — through the banner's preference controls, through our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link, or by enabling Global Privacy Control (see below). When you opt out, we stop setting those Cookies and stop sharing the associated information with advertising partners.

Disabling some Cookies may affect the functionality of the Services.

Global Privacy Control. We honor opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC). When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser or device, and we suppress advertising and targeting technologies accordingly, to the extent required by applicable law.

4. How We Disclose Your Information

We may disclose your information to:

  • Service providers and processors who perform services on our behalf — such as hosting, payment processing, analytics, customer support, marketing and messaging platforms, and claims administration — and who are contractually limited to using it for those purposes.
  • Advertising and analytics partners — including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and Microsoft — in connection with the advertising and analytics Cookies described in Section 3. Depending on your jurisdiction, some of this activity may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising or a "sale" of personal information. You may opt out as described in Sections 3 and 7, including through our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link.
  • Dealerships, finance and insurance providers, and other business partners involved in your enrollment or coverage, consistent with your relationship with them and applicable law.
  • Legal and safety recipients — courts, regulators, or law enforcement, when we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of TruckClub, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers — a successor or acquirer in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.

We do not sell or share your text-messaging opt-in data; see the SMS Privacy Policy.

5. How We Protect Your Information

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it. Retention periods vary based on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

6. Marketing Communications and Text Messaging

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us at legal@truckclub.com.

Our text-messaging program is entirely opt-in. We send marketing text messages only to individuals who have affirmatively provided prior express written consent — for example, by checking an unchecked SMS consent checkbox or otherwise affirmatively opting in. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Our collection, use, and handling of mobile information is described in our SMS Privacy Policy. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access / Know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete — request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Portability — request a copy of your personal information in a portable format.
  • Opt out — opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising. You can exercise this through our "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link, through our cookie-consent banner's preference controls, by enabling Global Privacy Control, or by contacting us.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

State-specific rights. Residents of California, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have the rights described above under those laws, including the right to appeal a denial of a request. Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information where applicable.

How to exercise your rights. Submit a request to legal@truckclub.com or call (818) 698-7825, or use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on our site. We will verify your request as required by law before responding, and you may use an authorized agent. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or contacting us at the same address.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at legal@truckclub.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. Third-Party Links

The Services may contain links to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will revise the Effective Date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as posting a notice on the Services or sending you a notification). Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
