TruckProtect™ · Know this before you enroll

No inspection to enroll. A simple warm-up before coverage begins.

We don't inspect your truck at signup, no shop visit, no downtime. In its place, every TruckProtect™ plan starts with a warm-up period: coverage begins only after 30 or 90 days, depending on the component group, plus 2,500 miles driven. Here is exactly how it works.

!

Coverage begins only after both milestones are met, the waiting period and 2,500 miles driven. The 2,500 miles is one total: no additional miles are needed after 90 days.

TruckProtect™ warm-up period

When your coverage begins

The warm-up is the trade for skipping the inspection: instead of a shop visit, your truck proves itself by running. Complete two milestones, then coverage begins.

The fine print, up front

Pre-existing conditions aren't covered

TruckProtect™ protects against failures that happen after your coverage begins. Anything already wrong with the truck when you enroll is a pre-existing condition. We don't cover them. No one covers them. That includes:

A failure or symptom that exists before your enrollment date

A failure that begins during the warm-up, before that component group's coverage starts

Progressive damage that traces back to a pre-existing failure

The flip side

A failure that first occurs after your warm-up milestones are met is exactly what the plan is for, coverage available up to your plan's per-claim limit, with no cap on the number of claims.

Common questions

The warm-up, answered straight

Do I need another 2,500 miles for the 90-day components?

No. 2,500 miles is one total, counted from enrollment. If you pass it in the first month, coverage for 30-day components begins after 30 days, and 90-day components begin automatically after 90 days, no extra miles needed.

Why is there a warm-up period at all?

Because we don't inspect your truck at signup. The warm-up is the trade: you skip the shop visit and enroll in minutes, and the warm-up period confirms the truck is sound, the same assurance an inspection would give. That keeps plans affordable for every member.

I'm looking at Elite, does everything wait 90 days?

No. Everything included in Essential & Pro begins after 30 days. Only Elite-tier components, electronics, and seals & gaskets begin after 90 days.

Does towing reimbursement have its own warm-up?

Towing is reimbursed on an approved claim, so it follows the component that failed: once that component group's coverage has begun, the tow on an approved claim is reimbursed.

When does the clock start?

Day 0 is your enrollment date, the day you purchase your plan and we validate your mileage. Both the day count and the 2,500 miles are measured from there.

TruckProtect™ is a vehicle service contract for used commercial trucks, Class 3–8. It is not insurance. Coverage availability and component groups vary by plan tier; per-claim limits apply, Essential $15,000, Pro $20,000, Elite $30,000, with no aggregate maximum and no cap on the number of claims. Coverage begins only after the applicable warm-up milestones, the waiting period and 2,500 miles driven, are met. See your contract for governing terms.
